Dr. Ralph-Steven Wedemeyer

Ralph-Steven Wedemeyer is a pharmacist by training and completed his diploma thesis and doctorate under Professor Weitschies at the Institute of Biopharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the Ernst Moritz Arndt University in Greifswald. In 2009, due to his excellent biopharmaceutical knowledge, he became a research associate of Professor Blume at SocraTec R&D and together they managed countless biopharmaceutical consulting projects for pharmaceutical industry clients. Since Prof. Blume's retirement, he has successfully continued this consulting function in SocraTec R&D together with André Warnke.

His passion for mathematics paved his way into pharmacokinetics and statistics, which became his second scientific mainstay over the years. Today, Ralph-Steven Wedemeyer is head of the Pharmacokinetics and Statistics Department at SocraMetrics, where he, together with Katrin Mittmann and Ramon Villalobos, is responsible for the pharmacokinetic and statistical design of clinical studies and their evaluation at SocraMetrics.

His extremely broad expertise paired with his distinctive analytical intelligence are the basis for intelligent and cleverly designed study concepts. His expertise and the experience of his colleagues at SocraMetrics is complemented by a staff of consultants and freelancers who contribute their specific know-how to complex statistical questions e.g. in the context of adaptive designs and modelling, making state-of-the-art biometric approaches possible in the context of drug development.
