Dr. Barbara Schug

As co-founder and owner of SocraMetrics, Barbara Schug, with her many years of expertise in drug development, represents the corporate culture and innovative potential of SocraMetrics - coupled with high sustainability and quality standards.

As a pharmacist with a PhD in experimental pharmacology and many years of CRO experience, she brings the necessary experience and expertise to provide the company with the standards appropriate to modern drug development. From the beginning, her efforts in SocraMetrics have been focused on implementing high quality data management and statistical analysis with the highest quality standards, following the basic principles of CFR 21 Part 11, GAMP-5 and a CDASH-based data design. Barbara Schug's original "early phase" oriented work focus has naturally added excellent pharmacokinetic analysis as a building block to the company's service units.

Barbara Schug brings with her a great treasure of experience and excellent interdisciplinary knowledge, which enables her to optimally encourage the specialist departments and to comprehensively support the customers, to find efficient solutions or to point out new ways. Routine and motivation are not opposites to her! Her experience in combination with her enthusiasm for new things make her an excellent partner in the search for solutions. Her intensive networking in industry, authorities and universities allows her to call in proven experts when her own knowledge reaches its limits. The optimal solution for the customer is always in the foreground for her.

SocraMetrics at AGAH Annual Meeting 18-19 April!

We couldn't be prouder that our colleague Stephan Herrmann will be sharing his experience at AGAH e. V. Annual Meeting in Münster on 18-19 April.

Stephan's session, titled "Why digital tools frequently fail", will shed light on the interplay between customers, developers, and users during software development. Having walked in all of these shoes, Stephan's mission is to raise awareness for the challenges inherent in this interaction, particularly in the context of decentralized clinical trials.
