Caroline Matthey

Caroline Matthey studied veterinary medicine at the Free University of Berlin. During an internship in the Veterinary Medicines Department at the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety, she discovered her love for pharmacovigilance. At the owner-managed Berlin-based service company Brinker Pharmaconsulting, she learned all pharmacovigilance steps from scratch. Clients - clinical trial sponsors as well as marketing authorisation holders and applicants - benefit from her profound technical and process knowledge. The global project management of multi-centre, worldwide studies is just as much a part of her daily business as the management of the worldwide routine pharmacovigilance of approved medicinal products.

Caroline Matthey took over the departmental management of German and Dutch pharmacovigilance sites in steadily growing corporate structures and expanded both the team and the processes. Agile project management, knowledge sharing and broad expertise within the department are very close to her heart. A very high quality standard is in every step and ensures a legally compliant and robust pharmacovigilance system for sponsors and pharmaceutical companies.
